Their are two main pills you take in combination which is firstly Mifepristone is taken after 24 to 48 hours and than Misoprostol is taken to increase the efficiency of first which is mifepristone drug. Misoprostol causes cramping and bleeding which clear out the uterus which further leads to an abortion. By following these steps yo could easily get an abortion at home.

Time when to take an abortion pill:

For 8 weeks pregnant or less, it works about 94-98% of the time.
For 8-9 weeks pregnant, it works about 94-96% of the time.
For 9-10 weeks pregnant, it works about 91-93% of the time.
At 10-11 weeks pregnant, it works about 87% of the time.

How to administer a abortion pill:

Firstly take mifepristone pills (200 mg) with water.
Than wait for 1 or 2 days and after waiting take misoprostol pills usually 2 pills.
Put those misoprostol pills under mouth (under the tongue or under the teeth) and wait until it get fully absorbed. Than drink water.
After waiting for 2-3 hours take ibuprofen pills (which are painkillers) it will help you with the pain and cramps.
Usually in 1-2 days abortion will happen.

How to check for pregnancy in home:

You can check it by following steps or by checking the symptoms after you missed you first period.

By counting the days or by doing some checks like ultrasound by doctor you could easily check the time period, for how many days you are pregnant. If you are pregnant for less than 11 weeks or 78 days you cold use abortion pills or pregnancy termination pills to terminate the pregnancy.

You could also use pregnancy check kits from local pharmacy store to check if you are pregnant or not.

2. Second method to terminate your pregnancy is by surgery:

As surgical method is much more costly. The cost of a surgical procedure of termination of pregnancy in India comes around 20,000 – 40,000 INR. The minimum cost of an abortion can be as low as 20,000 INR and can go at a maximum of 40,000 INR.

Most abortions are performed using ‘suction (vacuum) aspiration’ or ‘suction curettage’. To have this procedure you must be in the first trimester of pregnancy (first 3 months or 12 weeks).

Surgical method are only done after 12 weeks or so as the fetus is grown quite a well so it could only be removed by getting a surgery.

Your cervix is gradually dilated with rods of increasing size and then a thin tube is inserted into your uterus. The pregnancy (fetus and placenta) is withdrawn with gentle suction. Another instrument called a curette is used to check whether the uterus is empty or not.
